"Welcome to the future of collagen production, where science meets sustainability. At LeafyColl, we have pioneered an innovative, plant-based solution to one of the beauty industry's greatest challenges-sourcing collagen ethically and sustainably.
Collagen, the key protein responsible for maintaining skin’s elasticity and youthfulness, makes up 90% of your skin, particularly Type 1 and Type 3 collagen. However, traditional sources of collagen, such as fish and bovine, come with significant drawbacks. Marine collagen is linked to hypercalcemia and allergies, while bovine collagen carries risks such as diseases like mad cow. What about vegan collagen? Most claims are misleading plants don’t naturally produce collagen; they merely include ingredients to boost your skin’s collagen.
LeafyColl changes the game entirely. Using cutting-edge bioengineering, we have transformed plants into ‘collagen factories’ that naturally produce 100% bio-identical human collagen. This revolutionary approach ensures the safety, purity, and effectiveness of real collagen, while meeting the ethical and environmental standards demanded by today’s consumers.
Our experimental greenhouse in southern England is already yielding its first harvest, paving the way for a sustainable, scalable, and net-zero solution. With LeafyColl, we are not just creating a product; we are redefining the future of skincare and beauty care for eco-conscious brands and consumers worldwide. Discover how LeafyColl’s innovative approach is making the world healthier, more beautiful, and more sustainable-one plant at a time".

"Warden Agri (WA) is a business with a strong green agenda that focusses on recycling and re-working of by-products and waste streams supplying the renewable energy sector. Product is moved up the waste hierarchy diverting it from landfill into a useable and added-value commodity.
With the University of Lincoln, we have established a scientific framework for analysing food waste products by identifying new market opportunities for developing novel, safe and sustainable products. We are using avocado by-product for avocado oil for cosmetics in Europe and are in the process of developing an orange colour from the same material".
